Staff Programmer(open until filled)
Description:
The Center for Bioimaging Informatics is looking for a staff research programmer starting immediately for work on the BISQUE (Bio-Image Semantic Query User Environment) system.
The position will include working closely with database specialists, image processing researchers, and biologists on a regular basis to identify and integrate novel analyses into the bisque system.
Duties will include identifying biologically relevant analyses and integrating them into the Bisque system for deployment.
Requirements:
Web page contruction and experience with web application frameworks required (i.e. RubyOnRails, turbogears, etc). Experience with python, javascript, CSS, HTML required. Demonstrated ability to work on large and complex software platforms with other developers is desired.
